  Concept character design for a graphic novel. This leading lady is a cunning detective for the now buried Los Angeles in the not-so-distant future. After two-thirds of the city was completely destroyed in a 9.0 earthquake, know as the Big Shake, the once great city has fallen to the lawless. Gangs control the remenates of the underworld. Decetive Valentine is about the only one of the LAPD willing to venture into this abyss. She is the Tony Salvalas of the 21st century.
