Just as you enter the sector, an emergency message is received on the Burst channel. These Burst messages are one-way warp broadcasts sent as a data packet for long range communications in deep space. You are not able to respond without a Burst Communications Array.

"This is Knight Sector Patrol delta zebra five."

"You are transporting a wanted fugitive. Dock at Civilian Station [x] so we can take the individual into custody"

"I repeat. Dock at Civilian Station immediately."

Again, your comms panel shows another incoming one-way burst message.

"Captain, I am commander Ian Gilliam of the Proxima Mining Company. We have been informed you have two Syndicate passengers aboard. One of them just murdered a PMC official in cold blood."

"I demand that you bring them to Mining Outpost [x] without delay. You don't want to be on our bad side now do you Captain?"

You confront the two delegates and let them know of the recent communications you have recieved. After some initial denials, that you disregard, Gregory begins to talk.

"I didn't kill anyone. He was already dead when I arrived at the kiosk. I panicked and ran. The Syndicate is being framed, can't you see that?" Gregory continues.

"This is the only way for our corporate buyout to fall through." He explains. "They mean to discredit us and make us withdraw our offer."

"Take us back to our station and we will work this out through the legal process." Gregory implores of you.
